2019 RACE DAY DETAILS
THE ESSENTIALS
Location: Stanley Park Brewing Restaurant & Brewpub

9:00am Package Pick-Up & Baggage Check at Stanley Park Brewpub Concession
9:45am Pre-Race Warmup at Start Line led by Innovative Fitness
10:00am 1-Mile Starts (see course map for start line)
10:25am DancePl3y for kids inside Stanley Park Brewpub
10:45am 5km Starts (see course map for start line)
11:00am Post-Race Party
12:00pm Awards/Contests/Prizes
COURSE DETAILS
Aid Stations: there will be one aid station approximately halfway on the 5km course.

Finish Line: Participants will receive their finisher's medal at the finish line. Water and bananas will also be available prior to making your way to the after party. More food, drinks, and snacks will also be available inside Stanley Park Brewpub.
​
Course Limits: the 1-mile course will be open for 25 minutes. The 5km course will be open for 1 hour.

FOR THE KIDS!
Movember isn't just for adults - that's why we want to make this event one the entire family can enjoy!
​
We are proud to be partnering with Dancing With Life once again for the event. After the 1-mile race, they'll be inside the Stanley Park Brewpub to teach a fun & empowering dance while the 5km goes on. The kids will then have the opportunity to perform the dance flash-mob style during the after-party! (this is a drop off for registered racers - parents can sign a waiver and still run the 5km themselves!). Dancing With Life leads DancePl3y programs, where they teach physical literacy and dance to kids all across metro Vancouver.
AFTER-PARTY
After the 5km, head back to the Stanley Park Brewpub for the post-race party where the following awaits:

• a free beer from Stanley Park Brewing (for racers 19+ years)
• moustache grooming courtesy of Regal Grooming
• music/dancing
• juice from Bremner's Foods
• bananas compliments of Whole Foods Market
• prizes for Largest Fundraiser, Best Moustache (real and otherwise), Best Costume, Best Team Costume, and more!
